Position Details

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,500 to $1,800
  • $0.71–$0.75 CPM (based on experience)
  • $15 stop pay (average of 10 stops)
  • Monthly performance bonus
• Schedule: Thursday-Monday
  • Start: 0600 Thursday, end: 1400 Tuesday
  • 90% night driving (dock out times: 9 PM - 4 AM)
• Freight & Equipment:
  • 53’ Reefer trailers delivering to stores
  • Live unload at stores with driver assist (includes recording pallets and moving bulkheads)
  • Newer automatic Freightliners & Internationals
• Home Time: Weekly with consecutive days off
• Training:
  • 2 training runs (2-4 days with trainer); training pay is $250/day
• Driver Perks:
  • Passengers allowed after 90 days
  • Pets allowed
  • Drivers within 60 miles of Cedar Falls, IA may park trucks at home; otherwise, trucks must remain hooked to trailers in a safe location.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Fuel reefers and turn in completed customer paperwork (including reefer fuel receipts)
• 4 stores require driver unload using liftgate trailers
• A sixth day may be required based on customer needs (advanced notice provided)

Requirements:

• At least 21 years old
• Minimum 6 months Class A driving experience (including winter driving experience)
• Comfortable with driver unload assist
• Must live in Iowa or within 60 miles of Omaha, NE or Kansas City, MO
• Team driver required (must have a teammate already)
