Class A Reefer Driver - Home Weekly
Location: Cedar Falls, IA, or within 60 miles of Omaha, NE, or Kansas City, MO
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Immediate Hire
Position Details:
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,500 to $1,800
- Mileage Rate: $0.71-$0.75 CPM, based on experience
- Stop Pay: $15 per stop (average 10 stops)
- Bonus: Monthly performance bonus
- Home Time: Home weekly with consecutive days off
- Schedule: Thursday to Monday (start at 0600 Thursday, finish at 1400 Tuesday)
- Deliveries: 53’ reefer regional deliveries to Target stores
- Unload: Live unload at stores, driver assist required
- Equipment: Newer model automatic Freightliners & Internationals
- Pay Method: Weekly pay via direct deposit

Additional Information:
- Training: Two training runs (2 to 4 days) with an account trainer, training pay is $250 per day
- Driving: 90% night driving (dock out times 2100 to 0400)
- Day Shift: Possible for drivers living within 60 miles of the distribution center (based on availability)
- Passengers & Pets: Allowed after 90 days
- Truck Policy: Trucks can be taken home for drivers living outside a 60-mile radius of Cedar Falls, IA; for drivers in KC and Omaha, trucks must remain hooked to trailers and parked at a safe location
- Responsibilities: Live unloading at stores, driver assist, recording pallets on the dock, moving bulkheads, fueling reefers, and turning in completed customer paperwork, including reefer fuel receipts
- Driver Unload: Four stores require driver unload with liftgate trailers
- Additional Days: Based on customer needs, a sixth day may be required with advanced notice
- Experience: Must have six months of winter driving experience
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have at least 6 months of Class A driving experience
- Must have winter driving experience
- Must be comfortable with some driver unload assist
- Must live in Iowa or within 60 miles of Omaha, NE, or Kansas City, MO
